The 16th VIFA EXPO 2025 is expected to attract over 600 enterprises with a scale of 3,000 booths across the two largest exhibition centers in Ho Chi Minh City: SECC (District 7) and SKY EXPO VIETNAM (District 12). The event is projected to welcome more than 20,000 visitors, including over 7,000 international buyers.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in the first nine months of 2024, Vietnam’s wood and furniture exports reached USD 12.5 billion, marking a 17.2% growth compared to the same period in 2023. (Source: Gỗ Việt Magazine). Although some markets like South Korea and Japan showed slight declines, key markets such as the U.S., China, and Europe maintained positive growth momentum. However, the wood and furniture export sector still faces many challenges due to global economic and political uncertainties. Participating in domestic trade promotion and export fairs has become a top choice for furniture businesses to overcome these challenges.
As a trade bridge between Vietnamese companies and international buyers, VIFA EXPO has solidified its position over 15 successful editions, becoming the leading furniture export fair brand in Vietnam. VIFA EXPO 2025 is among the most reputable furniture fairs in Asia in Spring 2025, including: MIFF – Malaysia (March 1–4), EFE – Malaysia (March 2–5), VIFA EXPO – Vietnam (March 5–8), IFEX – Indonesia (March 6–9), 3F – China (March 15–19), CIFF – China (March 18–21 and March 28–31). Taking place at an ideal time, VIFA EXPO 2025 is at the center of this fair series, helping buyers easily source products from Vietnam and other countries.
VIFA EXPO Attracts International Buyers
The 16th VIFA EXPO 2025 is expected to host over 600 enterprises with a record-breaking scale of 3,000 booths. Of these, 75% will feature indoor and outdoor furniture products, 15% will be home décor and handicrafts, and 10% will include accessories, machinery, and support services. With this impressive scale, the event is expected to welcome more than 20,000 visitors, including over 7,000 international buyers.
SECC (District 7) is the most modern exhibition and convention center in southern Vietnam, located in the Phu My Hung urban area. With an area of over 40,000 m², including two main halls A and B and a multifunctional outdoor area, SECC fully meets the requirements of large-scale events.
Meanwhile, SKY EXPO (District 12) is located in Quang Trung Software City, equipped with modern infrastructure and convenient transportation. Only a 30-minute drive from Tan Son Nhat Airport, SKY EXPO is an ideal venue for buyers attending the event. It has hosted many prestigious international exhibitions in fields such as construction, furniture, energy, and machinery, with notable events like VIFA EXPO, VIETBUILD, Solar & Storage, LifeStyle Vietnam, etc.
VIFA EXPO is consistently trusted and expected by enterprises to be a solid platform for promoting Vietnam’s furniture industry, creating thousands of effective business opportunities between companies and international buyers. With growing demand from participating enterprises, to ensure sufficient exhibition space, VIFA EXPO 2025 will be held for the first time at both SECC and SKY EXPO. This also reflects the organizer’s long-term and sustainable development strategy to expand the scale, elevate the brand, and position VIFA EXPO as Vietnam’s No.1 furniture exhibition brand for the international market.
To ensure that all visitors, especially international ones, can experience the entire exhibition, the organizers will arrange two-way shuttle buses between SECC and SKY EXPO at high frequency – every 30 minutes. Shuttle routes will also run from official hotels to both SECC and SKY EXPO.
To date, over 2,000 booths have been registered by more than 400 enterprises. VIFA EXPO 2025 has reached over two-thirds of its targeted scale, with registration numbers exceeding expectations. Many participating companies are top-tier brands in the industry such as: Koda, Woodnet, Scancom, Fine Scandinavian, MFC, PMA, Savimex, Thinh Viet, Lyprodan, Eurofar, Hiep Long, Cattie, Master Pacific, Mega Home, Wood Concept… Alongside 10 sponsoring units who are leading brands in the sector: Annda, Minh Tín, Your Furn Partner, Trendworld, Far East Foam, Livax, Canadian Wood, Reindeer, Latitude Tree, Paul - Yu.
