Agritechnica Asia Vietnam 2025 will be held in parallel with HortEx, Southeast Asia's leading exhibition for horticulture and floriculture. The two exhibitions will showcase machinery and cultivation techniques, offering visitors an overview of the efficiency of current technologies.
Following this, HortEx will also be held alongside Agritechnica Asia in Bangkok in 2026, supported by Minh Vi Advertising and Exhibition Services Co., Ltd. (VEAS) and Nova Exhibitions BV, a Dutch exhibition organizer from a country with a leading industry in this sector. IPM Essen, the world’s leading horticulture exhibition held in Essen, Germany, supports HortEx through its extensive network.
With its rapidly developing economy and the government’s plans to modernize agriculture, Vietnam presents significant potential for agricultural machinery manufacturers, including rice equipment. Around six months ago, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) in collaboration with IRRI launched a new program titled “Sustainable development of 1 million hectares of high-quality, low-emission rice linked with green growth in the Mekong Delta.”

Ms. Ratti Veerawong, Project Director of Agritechnica Asia, sees great opportunities for new trade at the opening of Agritechnica Asia in Vietnam, one of the world’s most important rice producers. The upcoming exhibition will showcase rice equipment, new techniques, and international projects.
“Agritechnica Asia is a great opportunity to connect with industry peers and discover new innovations. As Vice President of AMMDA and an importer, I’m actively seeking technologies suited to the Philippine market. We plan to attend Agritechnica Asia in Vietnam next year,” said Nerio Antonio M. Sibulo, Vice President of AMMDA, the Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers and Distributors Association of the Philippines.
The demand from the agriculture sector and regional agricultural ministries has driven DLG to host Agritechnica Asia annually, alternating between Thailand and Vietnam starting in 2025. Agricultural professionals across Asia are constantly seeking information on equipment and farming techniques.
“This is why we are expanding Agritechnica Asia into an annual event,” said Jens Kremer, Managing Director of DLG International. He added that agricultural experts across Asia will have the opportunity to exchange expertise, build business connections, and expand professional networks through DLG to improve agricultural practices and knowledge sharing in the region.
The Agritechnica Asia trade fair inherits the prestige of Agritechnica in Germany, which is internationally recognized by agricultural professionals as the world’s leading platform for innovation and agricultural expertise—where global trends and practical knowledge converge.
